Celebrity have poured tribute after tribute to the man who pioneered rock, Lou Reed, after he passed away on Sunday due to liver disease.

English rock band The Who posted on their Twitter page 'R.I.P. Lou Reed. Walk on the peaceful side,' the Huffington Post reported.

Teen icon Miley Cyrus tweeted "nooo nottt Lou Reed."

Veteran actress Julianne Moore wrote on her Twitter page 'Oh no! RIP Lou Reed.
