Chelsea displayed another scintillating performance as they extended their advantage at the top of the Premier League table after defeating Stoke City 2-1 on Saturday night.
Midfielder Eden Hazard put Jose Mourinho's men ahead in the 39th minute through a penalty after Cesc Fabregas was tripped in the box.
However, Stoke were given glimmer of hope as Charlie Adam leveled the score through a stunning 44th minute goal from around 65 yards out, the BBC reported.
Subsequently, Loic Remy netted the decisive goal for Chelsea in the 62nd minute following an error from keeper Asmir Begovic.
Chelsea dealt a severe blow as forward Diego Costa, who came on at half-time, suffered another hamstring injury after lasting only 11 minutes.
With the win, Chelsea stay seven points clear at the top of the league table with 70 points.
