Cheryl Cole is reportedly set to make a comeback on X Factor as a judge, and has apparently been in secret talks with Simon Cowell about it.
Cole, who quit the show in 2010 after three years on the panel to try her hand at the US version, after a fledgling appearance on the US X Factor, she was replaced by Nicole Scherzinger and relations between her and the 'Syco' boss had turned frosty, Metro.co.uk reported.
The 54-year-old music mogul and the former 'Girls Aloud' singer are now on talking terms and she recently paid a visit to his Los Angeles mansion to strike a to mark her return to the UK show.
A source has revealed to the Sun that it's significant that the pair is talking as they had a fall out in the past and this period of peace makes Cole's return a matter of when, rather than if.
