Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 4 lakh for the next of kin of those killed in Chhindwara fire.
At least, 14 people were killed in the fire that broke out at a ration store in Madhya Pradesh's Chhindwara district earlier today.
Three persons are believed to be in a critical condition.
The fire is under control now.
Yesterday, a similar inferno was reported from Ranipura in Madhya Pradesh's Indore.
At least seven people were killed after a major fire broke out at a firecracker factory there.
The police said a cylinder had burst in the godown which had caused the mishap.
