Delhi Dynamos secured their first win of the 2015 Indian Super League (ISL) campaign by sweeping aside touring Chennayin FC 1-0 here at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Thursday.
Central defender Anderson Chicao scored the lone goal for Delhi in the eighth minute, which was eventually sufficient to beat the opponents.
This was second defeat for Chennayin FC, as they suffered a 2-3 loss against Atletico de Kolkata in their opening match of the ISL.
Delhi will next lock horns with FC Pune City on October 14, while Chennai side will play against FC Goa on October 11.
