CM of Chhattisgarh prays for better yield of crop on the occasion of Independence Day

The Chief Minister of Chattisgarh, Raman Singh today said that he would pray to God for a better yield of crop on the occasion of India's Independence.

Addressing the gathering at the state capital Raipur, Singh said "I would pray to god that the crops don't get destroyed".

"More and less rainfall both is harmful for crops," he added.

India is celebrating its 68th Independence day today.
