The Congress Central Election Committee (CEC) meeting is presently underway here to decide the party's candidates for the upcoming assembly polls in Maharashtra.
Congress president Sonia Gandhi and other senior leaders, including Ahmad Patel, Veerappa Moily, A K Antony, Shakeel Ahmad and AICC general secretary in-charge of Maharashtra Mohan Prakash are attending the meeting.
The Congress is in alliance with NCP in the state.
Till now, there is no clarity still over seat sharing between both parties for the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly.
