The Congress party will stage a protest at the Gandhi statue in the Parliament premises today over the suspension of the party's lawmakers by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan.
The Trinamool Congress (TMC), Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and other party MPs will also assemble at the Gandhi Statue to protest the suspension.
The Trinamool Congress (TMC) had earlier stated that its MPs will desist from attending the Lok Sabha till Friday.
AAP leader Bhagwant Mann had also stated that his party's MPs will not attend the Parliament in solidarity with the suspended Congress lawmakers.
Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Parliamentary Party meeting is scheduled to take place at 9.30 a.m today in the Parliament.
