CWG 2014: India wins first ever squash gold

Dipika Pallikal and Joshna Chinappa , created history today as the duo won a historic gold medal in women's doubles squash for India at the Commonwealth Games 2014.

Television reports say that the duo defeated the English pair, Laura Massaro and Jenny Duncalf sealing a brilliant 11-6, 11-8 victory.

According the commonwealth games website India stands at fifth in the medal tally, bagging 14 gold, 25 silver and 16 bronze.
