The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a petition asking the CBI court to cancel YSR Congress Chief Jagan Mohan Reddy's bail in a Disproportionate Assets (DA) case, claiming that Jagan has violated the bail clause.

The petition has been accepted by the CBI court, and Reddy has been asked to file a counter petition on the 7th of April.

Sources have said the CBI is alleging that Jagan is trying to influence the case.

The CBI court had granted conditional bail to Jagan in September 2013 after spending 16 months in jail.

Jagan was arrested in May 2012 in the alleged DA case when he was the member of the Parliament.

The CBI has listed Jagan as A-1 and accused him of indulging in quid-pro-quo.
