Decent start for 'Tumhari Sulu' at the box office

Much-awaited film, 'Tumhari Sulu', has made a decent start at the box office.

The Vidya Balan-starrer, which was released on November 17, earned Rs 2.87 crore on its opening day.

"#TumhariSulu picked up after a slow start in the morning shows. Fri ? 2.87 cr. India biz. Expected to register robust growth over the weekend," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Directed by Suresh Triveni, the movie is about a competent woman - essayed by Vidya - who chances upon the opportunity of becoming an RJ and grabs it with both hands.

The flick also stars Manav Kaul, Neha Dhupia and RJ Malishka.
