A Delhi court on Monday will continue hearing the AIADMK's 'two leaves' symbol bribery case.

A Special Tis Hazari Court is likely to take cognizance on the chargesheet filed by the Delhi police against middleman Sukesh Chandrasekhar in the Election Commission bribery case involving AIADMK (Amma) faction leader TTV Dhinakaran.

Chandrasekhar was arrested on April 16 and has been denied bail twice by the sessions court and then again by the Delhi High Court. He was arrested for allegedly taking money from Dhinakaran to bribe Election Commission officials to get the AIADMK's two leaves symbol for the Sasikala faction.

Dhinakaran was arrested on April 25 for allegedly attempting to bribe an unidentified Election Commission official. He was granted bail in the case on June 1. His aide Mallikarjuna was also granted bail, who is accused of helping Dhinakaran transfer his money from Chennai to New Delhi.

On July 14, the Delhi Police filed chargesheet in Special Court of Judge Manoj Jain against Sukesh, who was arrested on April 16 and has been denied bail twice by the sessions court and then again by the Delhi High Court.

The police, however, did not name Dhinakaran in the final report and said that a supplementary charge sheet will be filed against him and other accused after it completes the probe against him.

Dinakaran was accused of giving money to middleman Sukesh Chandrasekar.

The EC had frozen the AIADMK's symbol after the two factions - one led by Dhinakaran's aunt Sasikala and the other by former chief minister O Panneerselvam - staked a claim to it.
