The Delhi Police has set up a 24/7 special police post in East Delhi's Nanakpura for north eastern people living in the capital. A helpline number, 1093, has also been set up to help those in distress.
In a statement issued here, the police also stated that if people are not satisfied with the facility provided to them at the special center and want help or consultation, they can dial the DCP, North East Special Unit, on 0981809970.
People can also send their query through SMS or Whatsapp at 09810083486.
The Delhi Police says that this special effort has been made to provide safety and security to all the north eastern people living in or around Delhi.
