Demi Lovato has opened up about the criticism she faced for her Cosmopolitan magazine cover, and claimed that she isn't ashamed of it, because she has grown from hating every inch of her body to flaunting it publically.
Talking about the Cosmopolitan cover, the 22-year-old that it took a lot out of her to get a place where she would feel comfortable enough to do a bikini shoot, reports E! Online.
The 'Heart Attack' songstress added that the cover was for her fans who know her story and her journey.
Lovato added that it is important for her to show people that it is more of statement than just looking sexy for a magazine cover.
