This year, Delhi will be celebrating Dussehra in a unique way by burning the effigy of Ravana themed on Chikungunya, Kumbhakarna themed on Malaria and Meghnad is themed on Dengue.
The Navyuvak Ramlila committee in Kashmiri gate of old Delhi has been doing Ramleela since last 45 years and the effigies would be burned at 8.30 p m.
Founder of the committee Jatthedar Avatar Singh said that the purpose behind the theme base Ravan effigies are loud and clear that Delhi can fight against these deceases without any politics.
Dengue and Chikungunya outbreak has been the major concern of Delhi this year, which claimed several lives.
Effigy of Terrorism of hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar would be burnt today at Ramleela Ground in Delhi Cantonment Sadar Bazar at 7 P.M.
