It was a celebratory night for Leonardo DiCaprio as he was awarded with the title of best actor at the 2016 Critics' Choice Award. Whilst 'Mad Max
The 'Revenant' actor has earned high praise for his ambitious and admirable performance in the unique project and has followed his Golden Globe's success and Oscars nomination with this award, reports the Mirror.
However, the movie side of the ceremony was all about 'Mad Max: Fury Road,' as the dystopian blockbuster bagged nine awards. This included action movie awards for best actor and actress for leads Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron and a Best Director trophy for George Miller.
The film itself was named Best Action Movie and it was also triumphant in categories for production design, editing, costume design, hair and makeup and visual effects.
