EBARA Corporation recently held a seminar on pump technology at Myanmar Engineering Society (MES). The two-day event started on February 15 in Yangon.
This was the 11th such seminar by EBARA in 24 years. Approximately 40 participants from government agencies, local governments and private-sector companies attended the event. The participants showed strong interest in issues, such as the plan of pump facilities for the water supply system, flood control and sewage improvement.
EBARA plans to host five similar event in other countries like Vietnam and Thailand.
Since the launch of the EBARA Hatakeyama Memorial Fund in 1989, it has organized more than 260 seminars at different locations around the world, welcoming more than 12,000 participants.
