Efforts are on to clean River Ganga, says Uma Bharti

Union Minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Uma Bharti has said efforts are on to clean the River Ganga by 2018.

Bharti told media here on Sunday that a technical committee is preparing a report on the quality of water in the Ganga water quality and will submit its report to the ministry by October this year.

The minister said that projects under Namami Gange Mission are on and water quality of Ganga river is also being monitored from Gokumkh to GangaSagar.
