Not only did Ellen Page walk on the Toronto International Film Festival's red carpet with her girlfriend for the first time, she also used the platform to talk about her video in which she asked Ted Cruz's views on LGBT rights.
Talking about the U.S. senator, the 28-year-old actress said that such homophobic people don't answer these questions and they say that one is cutting them off when they try to ask the same question again because they're not answering it.
According to the Entertainment Weekly, the 'Inception' star added that she thinks of the most vulnerable, the level of toxicity and shame, and it's so destructive.
The actress said it causes a lot of pain, as this is not funny and people should stop devaluing their love.
