Simon Cowell wept tears of joy as he held newborn son Eric Philip, with his socialite girlfriend Lauren Silverman, in his arms for the first time.
According to the hospital staff, Cowell broke down in the delivery room with girlfriend Silverman, 37, and told them that was the most magical moment of his life, the Daily Star reported.
The 'X Factor' boss was so happy that he also offered luxury holidays to hospital staff just moments later to show his gratitude.
A source told the publication that Cowell was in such a good mood and felt like he owed them all a massive debt for bringing his son into the world safely.
The baby boy, who was weighed in at 6lb 7oz, has been named 'Eric' after the ' X Factor' judge's beloved father.
