Engaged La Toya Jackson confessed her 'yes' wasn't prompt
La Toya Jackson, who confirmed the news of her engagement to her longtime friend and business partner, Jeffre Phillips, confessed that "it wasn't a fast yes".
Talking about the proposal, the 58-year-old singer said that their relationship had always been professional and she had no idea why the 46-year-old producer was so nervous, People Magazine reported.
Phillips had proposed to Jackson in August 2013 during their vacation in Hawaii, by surprising her with a 17.5-carat diamond ring, which he hid under her dessert tray.
