Legendary England and West Ham United captain Bobby Moore, who passed away aged just 51, is the new hero of the hit computer game FIFA and would star in the football franchise.
Stephanie, widow of he 1966 World Cup-winning captain, said that she is proud that millions of youngsters would get the chance to play as her husband.
The West Ham great was released into the gaming world on Friday as part of the EA Sports FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Legends. Ultimate Team players use in-game coins to buy a team of stars, the Daily Star reported.
The game would help raise cash for the Bobby Moore Fund, which Stephanie set up to fund bowel cancer research following the footballer's death in 1993.
The defender would play alongside other greats in a game mode used on Xbox Live.
Stephanie said that it's amazing to see her husband lace up his boots and step out on to the pitch in a football video game, adding that she is so proud that a new generation of fans who never saw Moore play would now be able to see what a wonderful player he was.
