The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) on Saturday arrested Rojalin Mallick, a director of Surya Nirman Resources Private Limited, for cheating people to the tune of Rs. 2 crore on the pretext of land allocation in Odisha's Chandaka.
Her husband, Chinmay Mallik, was arrested on June 22 this year and he is still in judicial custody.
Chinmay is Managing Director of Surya Nirman Company.
A case has been registered under 467, 468, 471, 420, 120-B of IPC and Section 6 of the Odisha Protection of Interests of Depositors (In Financial Establishments) Act, 2011.
