Cristiano Ronaldo suffered a hamstring injury in Monday's Euro Cup 2020 qualifier against Serbia. This injury has caused concerns for Juventus as a champions league fixture with Ajax looms.
The star forward for Portugal was lined up for qualifying match, but he was forced out of the match in the 31st minute due to the injury.
At the time, Portugal were trailing 0-1 to Serbia, as Dusan Tadic scored from the penalty spot for the Serbians. However, shortly after Ronaldo's removal, Portugal were able to tie the match through a goal from Danilo Pereira.
Ronaldo has been instrumental in guiding Juventus into the Champions League quarter-finals. The former Real-Madrid star struck a stunning hat-trick to defeat Athletico Madrid to overcome a 2-0 first leg deficit.
After his injury, his status for that quarter-final hangs in the balance.
Ajax sealed a quarter-final spot by stunning Ronaldo's former club, Real Madrid, beating them 4-1 in the second leg.
Juventus will take on Ajax on April 10 in the first leg in Amsterdam before returning to Turin for the second leg six days later.
