Four people, including a foreign national, were caught in two separate incidents at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport in New Delhi on Monday.

In the first case, the Central reserve Police Force (CISF) personnel caught three people with fake tickets at Terminal-3 of the IGI Airport.

They were caught while trying to exit from the international offloading gate without any luggage. Their movement aroused the suspicion of the CISF personnel and they intercepted them, according to the police.

They three identified themselves as Akhil Arora, Vipul Arora and Karan Arora.

When questioned, they revealed that they had managed to gain access into the terminal building by showing edited tickets of flight No. 15-796/STD, which was bound for Goa.

They said they had done so to see off their friend namely Arun Fnu, who was bound for Abu Dhabi by flight No. 9W-212/STD at 1740 hrs.

After verifying the facts with the concerned airlines the three were handed over to the Delhi Police for further inquiries and legal action.

The police have registered a case against the three at the police station.

In the second case, CISF Sub-Inspector Rohit Kumar, while on duty in the Security Hold Area (SHA) of Terminal-1D of IGI Airport, New Delhi detected a live round of unknown calibre in the handbag of a passenger named Carlos Junko, who was holding a Spanish passport.

When questioned he revealed that he was bound for Hyderabad.

He could not produce any other valid documents or explanation regarding the ammo when questioned.

He was later offloaded from the plane and handed over to the Delhi Police.

The police later registered a case under the Arms Act against him.
