The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), the apex fashion body in India, today announced that Amazon.in will be associating with the country's most exclusive couture event, India Couture Week 2015.
Speaking on the association, Mr. Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI, said, "We are very happy to announce our growing relationship with Amazon.in which together amplifies the business of fashion. Couture has always led the Indian high-end market, which is why a platform like this is significant. We look forward to an even more exciting experience this season, resulting in higher visibility and popularity. Our sponsor's support is key to the event's success."
Further Vikas Purohit, Head, Amazon Fashion India, expressed that he is very excited about this collaboration and it is in line with their vision of transforming the way India sells and shops for fashion online.
The event will see new energy and exclusivity with the new sponsors on board.
Spanning five days, luxurious India Couture Week 2015, will be held from July 29- August 2, 2015 at Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi that will celebrate the Indian heritage with modern-day inspiration.
