Veteran actor Dilip Kumar was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday, after complains of fever and swelling in his right leg.
The 93-year-old actor, who will be celebrating his 94th birthday on December 11, was rushed to hospital by wife Saira Banu.
However, sometime back he took to Twitter to inform fans about the stability in his health condition.
"Feeling much better now. Was admitted to Lilavati hospital for routine checkup. Your prayers are with me," he tweeted, along with a picture of him and Saira Banu.
This is the second time that the actor was admitted at the same hospital. On April 15, the tragedy king of Bollywood was hospitalised after he suffered from high fever. However, he made a quick recovery in two days.
Saira Banu then took to Twitter to inform the fans that the actor was doing well post treatment.
