Four Maoists were arrested in a joint operation between district forces and the Border Security Forces (BSF) here under the jurisdiction of the Koyalibeda Police Station on Sunday.

Following the operation, the forces recovered three country made guns and pipe bombs.

Earlier in the month, an encounter took place after the CRPF and Chhattisgarh Police carried out a joint search operation in Dantewada's Bandipara village, where an improvised explosive device (IED) blast had occurred.
