Gurugram, May 11 (ANI): If you are planning to take your kids this weekend for a world class entertainment experience, then the newly launched Fun City at the Ambience Mall in Gurugram is the place to be.

Kids entertainment is no more a child's play any longer and with the industry generating revenues in billions, more attention is now being paid by malls to create family centric retailment centres within the shopping malls.

The COO of the Landmark Leisure, Silvio Liedtke, definitely feels the same.

"Fun City is for families with children in the age group of two to twelve. This Fun City here has the biggest indoor structure for kids. Kids can play as long as they can. In the era of mobile phones and tablets, Fun City is a positive diversion towards physical activities and parents love it as much as children do for that reason," Liedtke told ANI in an exclusive interview.

"The entertainment brand is set up in over 42 locations in the middle east and 19 locations in India. We are also planning to launch at DLF mall of India in Noida. With the example of this Fun City, we want to show the people that we can create world class family entertainment centres," he added.

Speaking further on the ease of doing business in India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Liedtke said: "India has always been a sleeping giant and now under the Prime Minister Modi it seems it is waking up."

Vishal Kapur, the president of City max - the hospitality arm of Landmark Group - while speaking to ANI said the quality and safety standards at Fun City are of global benchmark, adding world class rides, soft play structures with more than 100 plus activities provide a unique experience for children and families.

Fun City, the global leisure and entertainment division, was officially launched on Wednesday. Bollywood child acting sensation Harshaali Malhotra was present on the occasion along with children from a local NGO. The innovative and expanding games and services offered at the centres provide a platform to the children for social interactions and active play in a safe environment.
