Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Ganesh Joshi, who has been accused of allegedly injuring police horse 'Shaktiman', was granted bail on Tuesday.
He was granted bail on personal bond of Rs. 25000.
The ACJM Court in Dhakrani had earlier rejected his bail plea following which he was sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
Shaktiman's left hind leg was amputated by veterinary doctors last Friday, after it suffered multiple fractures following an alleged attack by Joshi.
The horse was allegedly beaten with sticks by Joshi and his associates.
