Former US President George Bush flaunted his newly honed painting skills on Jay Leno's talk show 'The Tonight Show'.
While showing off a few of his paintings, including a portrait of Leno, Bush said that one may not see him as a painter, but he is, Us Magazine reported.
The Texas resident, 67, said that he has hired an art teacher, a woman named Gail Norfleet, who gives him lessons once a week in Dallas.
Bush revealed that he was inspired by an essay written by Winston Churchill that was tilted 'Painting as a Pastime' and asked Norfleet to find the Rembrandt trapped in his body.
Bush also showed pictures of paintings he made of his dog and cat, while adding that he takes painting seriously.
