Glasgow 2014 relay gold winner Bolt not planning to race at Gold Coast 2018

Jamaican sprint superstar Usain Bolt thrilled the Glasgow crowd as he put a medal-winning show after bagging the 4x100 metre relay gold for his country and later delivered a massive blow to the organisers of Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

The world's fastest man is planning to retire in 2017. Bolt said that he has always said that after Rio he wanted to retire but they keep saying that he should go onto 2017 world championship in London.

So, Bolt said that he feels that he might just do that, so that would be his last championship, The Daily Telegraph reported.

Bolt said that this training thing is not so easy, and added that he is just happy that he has done what he wanted to do in this sport.

The Jamaican said that he remembers that he asked Michael Johnson why he retired when he was on top, and the American told him that there wasn't nothing left to accomplish.

Bolt said that when one is in sport and has accomplished everything, then one should just retire because to stay in sports with these young kids coming up, one might just start getting beaten and for him, he hates losing.

Bolt also said that he does not know if he would think about defending his title in Australia in 2018, and added that he wants to be there, but maybe not as an athlete.
