World's largest technology provider GoDaddy has announced its expansion in hosting services with launch of Cloud Servers and Cloud Applications for small businesses in India.

The new offerings are designed to help the web developers to quickly build, test and scale cloud solutions for their SMB customers.

With 54-second or less provisioning, the GoDaddy Cloud Servers allow developers to build, test and re-provision the virtual instances instantly.

This 'pay-as-you-go' utility billing offering provides the flexibility and control of hourly billing and monthly limit making it affordable for customers. The easy to use solution is available at an industry leading price of Rs. 0.50 paisa per hour.

"The launch of Cloud Servers from GoDaddy will enable India's web developers with affordable and intuitive solutions to better serve their customers and grow their businesses", said Managing Director and Vice-President of GoDaddy India and Australia, Rajiv Sodhi.

Powered by purpose-built KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) virtualization, the platform is built on OpenStack to ensure highest scalability and security for individual developers and technologists to effectively leverage the platforms they know best. Additionally, the SSDs (solid-state drives) across the board and fast I/O (Input/Output) ensures excellent overall performance.

GoDaddy Cloud Servers come integrated with Cloud Applications powered by Bitnami. This partnership provides one-click optimized installation of around 120 applications ranging from content management systems like WordPress and Drupal, to customer relationship management tools like Odoo and OpenERP, to eCommerce applications like OpenCart and Magento, making it easier for developers to easily implement their preferred application technology for its customers.

The Cloud Servers also allows customers to seamlessly manage and maintain new and existing domains and sub domains. Additionally, by featuring snapshots, users are allowed to save their configurations and launch new servers with that image in a few minutes, instead of starting from scratch.
