Perhaps one of the most dreaded medical examinations is that of the stools. To make it slightly less nasty, a chipmaker is readying technology that will make toilets smarter.

Micron Technology is working on a smart chip that will enable toilets of the future to be artificially intelligent and scan human waste to diagnose ailments, Cnet reported.

At the Techonomy 2018 conference, CEO of Micron Technology Sanjay Mehrotra explained that the said technology will be capable of analyzing human waste in real time every day, saving one the trip to the doctor every six months.
