Greg Kinnear, Djimon Hounsou and Jon Voight are set to star alongside Renee Zellweger in the upcoming faith-based drama 'Same Kind of Different as Me.'
The Paramount Pictures project, which would be an adaptation of the nonfiction best-selling book by Ron Hall and Denver Moore with Lynn Vincent, and would see Michael Carney make his directorial debut, the screenplay for which was co-written by him with Alexander Foard and Hall, the Hollywood Reporter reported.
The film would focus on Hall, played by Kinnear, an international art dealer who must befriend a dangerous homeless man (Hounsou) to save his struggling marriage to his wife (Zellweger). Voight would play father to Kinnear's character.
The film would be produced by Mary Parent and Cale Boyter through Disruption Entertainment, alongside Darren Moorman, Stephen Johnston and Hall, while Chris Bancroft, Hans Graffunder, Carney and Foard act as executive producers.
