Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton launched a barrage of tweets following reports of his comments about Sebastian Vettel's dominance being boring for the sport and said that his rival was a great champion and human being.
According to the Guardian, Vettel is set to take the world championship for a fourth consecutive time after another untroubled victory in Korea last weekend.
Indeed, Vettel will become champion if he wins at the next round in Japan and main rival Fernando Alonso finishes outside of eighth place, the report said.
However, Hamilton had said that such dominance was not necessarily a good thing for the sport.
Later, the Mercedes driver clarified in his tweets that Vettel was a great champion and he deserved all the success he was enjoying on the circuit.
