Union Health Minister Dr. Harshvardhan said that his ministry has set an agenda to open an All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in each state.

"This will ensure good healthcare facilities at the nearest place to the people," said Harshvardhan.

The Minister will also be seeking the views of all the state governments on this issue.

He further stressed on the importance of people getting all due medical care in their home states so that they don't have to travel to Delhi and other metropolitan cities.
