Co-star Shahid Kapoor has a befitting reply to Kangana Ranaut's recent statement about her being a "third hero" in 'Rangoon.'
Talking to a leading daily, the 35-year-old actor said that there is nothing less in being a heroine, adding that he doesn't agree with the thought process which believes "being hero makes you a bigger person."
Amused at the 29-year-old actress' claims of being the highest paid actress in Bollywood and that she got the same fee as Saif Ali Khan and Shahid for 'Rangoon', the 'Haider' star said, "pay parity depends on the salability of a particular person."
Adding to it, he said that irrespective of whether it is female-oriented or a male-driven movie, an actor is paid for his/her "viability."
Period romance drama 'Rangoon,' directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, will hit the big screen on February 24 next year.
