A source close to the singer informed that the Coldplay front-man never wanted to end his terrific bond with the 25-year-old actress, but he wasn't flexible enough to balance his family with his tight work schedule, E! Online reported.

On the other hand, sources gushed about the duo's everlasting chemistry stating that they were very sweet with each other and treated each other with cozy, candle-lit dinner dates.

Martin and the Oscar-winning actress earlier dated each other for four months after which they split and then were recently speculated to have reunited once again after they were spotted at the Benefit for the People of Nepal in May.
