The Holey Artisan Bakery in Dhaka has officially reopened its operations in Gulshan after six months of the deadly militant attack.
In the aftermath of the attack, the cafe - in a show of fortitude and solidarity - began operating from a neighbouring restaurant in Gulshan 2.
The bakery is now operating on a more secure, smaller scale inside Gourmet Bazaar at Rangs Arcade on North Gulshan Avenue, reports the Dhaka Tribune.
On July 1, 2016, five armed militants stormed the Holey Artisan Bakery and took the bakery staff and guests hostage and killed 20 - including 18 foreigners - before law enforcement teams laid siege in the early hours of July 2, killing the terrorists.
