Jailed Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's 'adopted' daughter Honeypreet Insan, who has also been accused of fanning violent responses in Sirsa, Haryana and in Punjab to the former's conviction by a court last month, will be produced before a court here on Wednesday, said Panchkula Police Commissioner A S Chawla.
"We just want to go into the details of the violence that took place in Panchkula on August 25, and hence, will be interrogating her for the same. She will be produced before a court tomorrow," Chawla told media here.
He added that they will also be interrogating Honeypreet about her whereabouts this past month.
"We will investigate about it soon, but it will take some time," the Police Commissioner said.
Honeypreet is wanted by the police in connection with the violence that broke out in Panchkula in August, the day a court there declared Ram Rahim guilty of rape.
The Delhi High Court, on 26 September, rejected the transit anticipatory bail plea of Insan.
For almost 40 days, Haryana Police has been tracking leads on Honeypreet in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan.
