Formula 1 driver Nico Hulkenberg has signed a two-year contract extension deal with Sahara Force India, which will keep him in the team at least till the end of the 2017.
The 28-year-old felt delighted to be a part of Force India and added that the team provides him with future security, news.co.au reports.
The German player said that he was really impressed with the progress team has made over the last two years.
Meanwhile, Force India chief Vijay Mallya considered himself as Hulkenberg's biggest fan and said that the team has seen him turning into one of the best racing driver in the world.
Mallya lauded the player, saying he has the required technical knowledge and speed needed to achieve good results.
Hulkenberg, who was earlier linked with Ferrari to replace Kimi Raikkonen next season, instead decided to continue with Force India.
Hulkenberg became the first active Formula One driver to win at Le Mans in over two decades. He is at 12th spot in the drivers' championship with 24 points.
