Former Australia cricketer Michael Hussey has backed out-of-form all rounder Shane Watson to thrive at the upcoming World Cup, describing him as a player capable of dominating the game.
Hussey, a veteran of 185 ODIs, said that if he (Watson) could start well, then he had no doubt he could dominate the World Cup, News.co.au reported.
Reflecting on Watson's talent, Hussey further said that he was such a good package as he had so much power for the shorter forms, adding that he adds a lot of balance to every team he plays in as he bowls too, the report added.
Watson was rested from Friday's ODI against England in Hobart due to a tight hamstring.
Australia will open their World Cup campaign against England on February 14 in Melbourne.
