Sir Ian Botham's ex-mistress has hit back after the former English cricketer's version of the affair came out in a TV interview.
Kylie Verrells - the superstar's waitress lover for two years in the late 90s - was devastated last week to hear him say that he wanted out of the relationship early on but didn't know where to go.
The 57-year-old said that living a lie for two years was not easy, and it was a big mistake, which nearly cost him everything.
However, Verrells has said that Botham was in love with her and used to send her emails telling her that, the Mirror reported.
She claimed that it was actually her who wanted out of the relationship.
She insisted that she tried to break up with him but he wouldn't let her.
