Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has lashed out at the Punjab Government over the recent arrest of two of his nephews and alleged that the incident was arranged.

According to Dawn News, he said that his nephews were "mistreated because of who they are".

The PTI chief questioned police actions and whether traffic violations warrant such a reaction.

He said that the incident was arranged since the media immediately arrived at the scene.

"Punjab police have become Gullus," he added.

Khan's nephews were released on bail with a surety bond of Rs 50,000 each, as their lawyer had claimed all sections are bailable offenses.
