India and Pak to ensure peace and tranquility on international border

The five-day bi-annual meeting of the Pakistan Rangers and India's Border Security Force concluded here today with both sides agreeing to maintain peace and tranquility on the border.

Both the sides reached consensus that the communication channels should be used more effectively to control violations on the frontier.

A decision was taken according to which people who inadvertently cross the frontier would be immediately returned to their respective countries.

They also agreed on zero tolerance for smuggling.
