Hasan Suroor, an Indian-origin journalist in Britain, has been arrested after an anti-paedophile group caught him in a sting operation.
Suroor was caught waiting for a 14-year-old girl, allegedly with plans for a sexual encounter.
65-year-old Suroor was seen waiting to meet the teen girl in the video that was posted online, however, the columnist asserted that he had no sexual intentions in his meeting with the girl.
According to reports, the vigilante organisation that goes by the name 'Unknown TV', has evidence that Suroor had sexual conversations with one of their activists who posed as a minor.
The Unknown TV activists are known for their vigilante methods where they lure paedophiles online by posing as minors and then trapping them with hard evidence
Reports state that Suroor is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on November 12.
