New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson, who is suffering from a back injury, has been ruled out from the upcoming Test series against Australia.
Confirming the news, selector Gavin Larsen said that Corey hasn't recovered yet and it would be better for him to continue with his rehabilitation.
According to Sport24, all-rounder Mitchell Santner will replace injured Corey for the upcoming series.
Larsen insisted that it would be good opportunity for Santner, adding that his inclusion would benefit the team as he could bat well and his left-arm-spin would also bring variety to the bowling department.
New Zealand will play three Tests against Australia, starting from November 5 at Brisbane.
