Manchester United winger Nani and Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo have made it to Portugal coach Paulo Bento's World Cup squad despite being plagued with injuries while playing for their respective clubs.
Nani has been included in Portugal's World Cup squad despite making just 12 appearances for his club in the Premier League due to injuries, while Ronaldo will be evaluated by the national team's medical team following Real's Champions League final this weekend as the striker has suffered injury problems recently, Sport24 reported.
Meanwhile, SC Braga's midfielder Rafael 'Rafa' Silva, who just has one cap, has also made it to Bento's 23-man squad that will go to Brazil and Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho, regarded as one of Portugal's promising newcomers, has also been included in the squad, the report added.
