Internet biggest radio station, Pandora, has surpassed 250 million registered users worldwide, who have created more than six billion stations on the web-based radio service, despite growing competition from others.
Even after growing competition from giants like Apple and Google, who added new services like iTunes Radio and All Access last year, Pandora has continued to grow and the latest milestone with roughly 50 million registered users a year has indicated its growth.
According to Cnet, Pandora crossed it 200 million milestone in April last year and even though its first 100 million users took six years to generate; the next 100 million only took two years.
Pandora has also released news of milestone alongside the music acts lineup which Pandora has set up at the South by Southwest festival in Austin to stream live performances to be streamed on its radio station.
